Training camps are open, preseason kicks off August 7, and the 2026 NFL season is shaping up to be one of the most wide-open in years. The Seattle Seahawks won the Super Bowl in 2025 as one of three teams to hit 14 wins — along with New England and Denver — but the oddsboard already has the Rams as the outright Super Bowl favorite heading into this year.
We went through all 32 win totals and division winner odds at DraftKings and built a betting guide for every team. For each division you'll find our win total grade (OVER, UNDER, or PASS) plus the reasoning, and we cap it all with a best bets summary at the end. All odds from DraftKings as of late July 2026.
🏈 Quick Look: Top Bets
AFC East
| Team | Total | Over | Under | Our Pick |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Buffalo Bills | 10.5 | -125 | +105 | OVER |
| New England Patriots | 9.5 | -140 | +115 | UNDER |
| New York Jets | 5.5 | -115 | -105 | PASS |
| Miami Dolphins | 4.5 | -110 | -110 | PASS |
The AFC East comes down to Buffalo and New England again. The Bills went OVER 10.5 wins in six straight seasons before 2025 and now return under new head coach Joe Brady, who upgraded the roster with DJ Moore and Bradley Chubb. Josh Allen is still elite and the schedule is favorable — we're back on Buffalo to clear 10.5.
New England is the harder call. The Patriots made the Super Bowl with 14 wins, but their schedule in 2025 was one of the easiest in the league. Now they face the sixth-toughest slate and have to prove it wasn't a schedule artifact. We'll fade the Patriots at juice, taking the UNDER at +115 value.
The Dolphins are in full rebuild mode — they traded Waddle, released Hill and Chubb, and let Tua walk. Jeff Hafley and Malik Willis are starting fresh. At 4.5, the price is basically a coin flip and we'd rather pass than guess on a chaos team. The Jets added Geno Smith and some defensive pieces but 5.5 is a tight line — pass here too.
AFC North
| Team | Total | Over | Under | Our Pick |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Baltimore Ravens | 11.5 | +115 | -140 | OVER |
| Cincinnati Bengals | 9.5 | -140 | +115 | OVER |
| Pittsburgh Steelers | 8.5 | +100 | -120 | UNDER |
| Cleveland Browns | 6.5 | +105 | -125 | PASS |
This is one of the most interesting divisions to bet this year. Both Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow missed significant time in 2025, which handed Pittsburgh the division title despite the Steelers being a clear tier below Baltimore and Cincinnati on paper. With both QBs healthy, the AFC North reverts to form.
Baltimore at 11.5 is a big number but we're buying it at +115. Lamar Jackson healthy is a 12-win floor — the Ravens went 8-9 despite his being banged up most of the year. New HC Jesse Minter and the addition of Trey Hendrickson on defense make this team better, not worse.
Cincinnati is our highest-conviction bet in the entire AFC. Burrow healthy plus a massive defensive upgrade in Dexter Lawrence II plus Boye Mafe, combined with the third-easiest schedule in the NFL — we'll take the Bengals OVER 9.5 at -140 all day. Six wins last year with a hobbled Burrow and a porous defense should not repeat.
Pittsburgh is the fade. Aaron Rodgers is back for one more year and Mike McCarthy takes over as head coach. That reunion worked in Green Bay, but Rodgers is not the same player, and McCarthy hasn't exactly distinguished himself as an elite coach since those Packers years. UNDER 8.5 at -120 makes sense.
AFC South
| Team | Total | Over | Under | Our Pick |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Houston Texans | 9.5 | -125 | +105 | OVER |
| Jacksonville Jaguars | 8.5 | -125 | +105 | PASS |
| Indianapolis Colts | 7.5 | -130 | +110 | UNDER |
| Tennessee Titans | 6.5 | -110 | -110 | OVER |
Houston won 12 of their final 14 games to end 2025 and CJ Stroud looks like a legitimate franchise quarterback. We like the Texans OVER 9.5 — this is a team that closes strong and has the talent to compete with anyone. At +110 for division winner, that's where the real value sits.
Jacksonville's 13-4 season in 2025 was a Liam Coen masterpiece, but the Jaguars lost Travis Etienne Jr. and Devin Lloyd in free agency. That's a lot of production out the door for a team that wasn't exactly loaded in the first place. We'll pass on 8.5 rather than pick a direction.
Indianapolis had one of the stranger seasons in recent memory — 7-1 through eight weeks, then seven straight losses to close. Daniel Jones re-signed on a big extension, but Jones at $44M/year heading a mediocre roster is not a recipe for 8+ wins. UNDER 7.5 at even money (+110).
Tennessee is quietly interesting. Robert Saleh takes over as head coach with Brian Daboll calling the offense, and they drafted Carnell Tate fourth overall as an immediate weapon. The Titans won only three games in Cam Ward's first year, but the infrastructure around him just got dramatically better. Take the OVER 6.5 at -110.
AFC West
| Team | Total | Over | Under | Our Pick |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kansas City Chiefs | 10.5 | +115 | -140 | OVER |
| Los Angeles Chargers | 9.5 | -130 | +110 | OVER |
| Denver Broncos | 9.5 | -115 | -105 | UNDER |
| Las Vegas Raiders | 5.5 | -145 | +120 | UNDER |
The AFC West is the most bet-able division on the board this year because Denver's 14-win season was a statistical anomaly. The Broncos went 11-2 in one-score games — tied for an NFL record. That number does not hold. We're taking Denver UNDER 9.5 at -105 as one of our strongest plays of the preseason.
Kansas City at +160 to win the division is exactly the kind of bet we love. Patrick Mahomes returning from an ACL tear to a team that was competitive even during his injury-riddled 2025 is a massive upgrade. The Chiefs have won this division nine of the last ten years. OVER 10.5 at +115 is also live.
Los Angeles had 11 wins in 2025 without both starting tackles for most of the year. Joe Alt and Rashawn Slater returning plus Mike McDaniel as offensive coordinator is a meaningful upgrade. OVER 9.5 at -130 is fair price. The Raiders won three games last year, spent massively in free agency, and now have Fernando Mendoza under center — at best a .500 team, so UNDER 5.5 at +120 is fine value if you want the upside.
NFC East
| Team | Total | Over | Under | Our Pick |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Philadelphia Eagles | 10.5 | +115 | -140 | OVER |
| Dallas Cowboys | 9.5 | +110 | -130 | OVER |
| Washington Commanders | 7.5 | -120 | +100 | OVER |
| New York Giants | 7.5 | -110 | -110 | OVER |
This might be the most top-heavy division in football. All four teams have a legitimate case for 8+ wins, which is going to make the division race chaotic.
Philadelphia is our division winner pick and one of our top bets: OVER 10.5 at +115. The Eagles have cleared this win total four consecutive seasons and have the roster to do it again. Getting plus money on a team this consistent is a gift.
Dallas was exposed on defense last year but the additions of Rashan Gary and Caleb Downs are genuine difference-makers. Their offense was fifth in the league at 27.7 points per game — if the defense even becomes average, this is a 10-win team. OVER 9.5 at +110 is value.
Washington is underrated at 7.5. Jayden Daniels missed seven games last year and the Commanders went 5-2 with him healthy. Give him a full season with a full offseason of work and this team covers 7.5 easily. OVER at -120 is still reasonable price.
The Giants are our sleeper division winner at +600. John Harbaugh comes in after winning a Super Bowl with the Ravens, inheriting Malik Nabers, Cam Skattebo, and Jaxson Dart at quarterback. The NFC East is winnable with 9 wins, and this team is built to get there. OVER 7.5 at -110 is fine, but the division winner bet at +600 is the real play.
NFC North
| Team | Total | Over | Under | Our Pick |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Detroit Lions | 10.5 | -110 | -110 | OVER |
| Green Bay Packers | 10.5 | +115 | -140 | UNDER |
| Chicago Bears | 9.5 | +100 | -120 | UNDER |
| Minnesota Vikings | 8.5 | -110 | -110 | PASS |
The NFC North is the best division in football and it's not particularly close. All four teams won double-digit games in the recent past and each has a legitimate Super Bowl case on a good year.
Detroit goes from 9-8 last year to facing the sixth-easiest schedule in 2026. That's a massive bounce-back setup. Jahmyr Gibbs is an elite offensive weapon and this defense is underrated. OVER 10.5 at -110 is fine — we also like Detroit as division winner at +180.
Green Bay is our fade. The Packers went 9-8 last year and now face the third-hardest schedule in the NFL. Jordan Love has flashed upside but hasn't proven he can carry a team through a brutal slate. Under 10.5 at -140 is the juice we'd expect; take the UNDER at +115 for the Packers if you want the value side, but the juice on UNDER is -140 — not ideal. We'll take it anyway given the schedule.
Chicago drew the NFL's toughest schedule in Ben Johnson's second year. The Bears won 11 games with favorable scheduling in Year 1; replicating that with a brutal slate while dealing with defensive departures is a tall order. UNDER 9.5 at -120.
NFC South
| Team | Total | Over | Under | Our Pick |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tampa Bay Buccaneers | 8.5 | +100 | -120 | OVER |
| New Orleans Saints | 7.5 | -120 | +100 | OVER |
| Carolina Panthers | 7.5 | +110 | -130 | PASS |
| Atlanta Falcons | 6.5 | -120 | +100 | OVER |
The NFC South is the weakest division in football. Carolina won it last year with 8-9, and the oddsboard has all four teams bunched within +260 of each other in division winner odds. That says everything.
Tampa Bay won four division titles in a row from 2021-2024 and they're the favorites again. Baker Mayfield has been quietly solid and this team plays hard. OVER 8.5 at even money (+100) is playable, and the division winner at +164 is reasonable.
The Saints are our sneaky play in this division. Tyler Shough went 5-4 as the starter last year. With him running the full offense for a complete season, plus the second-easiest schedule in the NFL, New Orleans could make a real run at 9 wins. OVER 7.5 at -120 is our play here.
Atlanta is our sleeper play in the NFC South. Kevin Stefanski inherits a team with a genuine X factor in Bijan Robinson — when he's healthy, this offense has a different ceiling. Tua Tagovailoa doesn't need to be a hero here; if he manages the game with efficient 5-10 yard passes and lets Robinson carry the load, the Falcons have the pieces to steal 7 wins in this weak division. OVER 6.5 at -120. Carolina UNDER 7.5 at -130 feels like too much juice for a team that just won the division, even if 8-9 is a low bar.
NFC West
| Team | Total | Over | Under | Our Pick |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Los Angeles Rams | 10.5 | -140 | +115 | OVER |
| Seattle Seahawks | 10.5 | -130 | +110 | UNDER |
| San Francisco 49ers | 10.5 | +115 | -140 | OVER |
| Arizona Cardinals | 4.5 | +125 | -150 | PASS |
The NFC West is the best conference in football. Three teams won 12 games last year, and Seattle went 14-3 to win the Super Bowl. This division will send multiple teams to the playoffs and the races will go into January.
Los Angeles is the current Super Bowl favorite and we agree they're the best team in the NFC. The addition of Myles Garrett via trade and Trent McDuffie in the secondary addressed the one weakness this roster had. OVER 10.5 at -140 is juiced but worth it. Division winner at +100 is our pick.
Seattle is where we hammer the UNDER at +110 (plus money). The Seahawks won 14 games but they lost Boye Mafe, Kenneth Walker III, Coby Bryant, and Riq Woolen in the offseason. Defending Super Bowl champs historically regress, and this roster took real hits. Getting paid to take the under on 10.5 is excellent value.
San Francisco won 12 games in 2025 while missing Brock Purdy for eight games, and dealing with season-ending injuries to Nick Bosa and Fred Warner. With everyone healthy, this is a 12-win caliber team. OVER 10.5 at +115 might be the best line on the board — elite team, plus money, clear injury upside. We love this bet.
